Sitting at an elevation of 730m, Ägerital is above the Zuger fog line.
The lake has a lido at Unteraegeri and a new wellness centre and lido in Oberaegeri.
There are 3 shopping centres in Aegerital: 2 in Unteraegeri and 1 in Oberaegeri.
Public transport links are good, with a stop at the Buechli complex meaning Zug centre is 20 minutes away and the ski lifts at Sattel 35 minutes away.
International school buses stop outside the complex on Alte Landstrasse
Zurich is 40 minutes away by car. Access to the underground car park is snow ploughed during the winter
